After a whirlwind year-long romance,

Nargis Fakhri broke up with filmmaker-boyfriend Matt Alonzo in January last year. Soon after, the actress deleted all traces of him from her social media accounts and began anew. But it was only on Tuesday that she finally lasered out a tattoo with Matt’s initials inscribed on her hand. The duo had got matching tattoos with each other’s initials on May 1, 2018. “#ByeByePast,” she wrote, sharing a clip of the procedure.

Three days ago, Nargis posted on Instagram, “Spring proves that regardless of the darkness & desolation, new life is not only possible, it once again thrives! Embrace your spring and live your new life.” The words could be a reflection of the times or her life. Way to go, girl!
